Super Danganronpa 2 Review

This review does not contain story spoilers and only giving overall review.

Voice Acting:

English: So-so. Nagito and Hajime dubbers are really different in English. No offense but I actually prefer the Japanese dub, it fits perfectly.

Japanese: Superb. Although some may not like the idea that a woman voice dub male characters. I don’t mind as long as it fits the characters image, though, I actually find it amazing. Their voice are not very womanly and at first, I didn’t realize Nagito’s dubber is a woman.

Protagonist:

Typical protagonist, with a weird sticking out hair.

Characters:

Each character has its own unique traits and appearance as you can see on the image above. And that makes this story isn’t boring at all.

I found Nagito Komaeda is the most interesting character here. Some would categorize him as an antagonist or gray area.

Story: 10/10

It was very unexpected. The story is linked from the very beginning to the end. And linked to Danganronpa 1 too.

Gameplay:

I played with Hard Mode from beginning till the end. And it’s actually is not that hard to beat.

As a protagonist, you can get close to other characters to know them deeper. If you can't get close to everyone in one play that is okay. Because you don't need to replay it. You can just play the extra after you beat the main story. And from there, you can get close to other characters you haven't got close.

Graphic:

2D drawings animated like 3D.

Mostly visual novel like conversation.

Music: 10/10 from me.

This game has many nice, epic, and engaging songs that fit perfectly well with the story.

Play Time:

I think you’ll need at least 60 hours to finish the main story of this game.

I kinda take my time exploring many things. Also, play the extra and Magical Miracle Girl Monomi. And it actually took me more than 80 hours.

Replay Value: Yes

This game does have replay value. Especially if you already forgot the cases.

Overall: 10/10

It's 10 from me. Because I didn't complain about asking a better story. Although everybody taste is different.

Super Danganronpa 2 is worth playing master piece and worth the money. Because it will take very long to finish it.

The story is very engaging. If you like survival & detective theme and trial (like an attorney). You will sink into the story very quickly. And you will feel amazing if you solve the cases on your own.

Also, play the first Danganronpa if you haven't.

If you have already played the first one, the impact will be greater. This second one will feel more amazing.
